A common household problem. This has been the trigger for the accident that has cost the life of Ángela Gil, a 47-year-old woman from Gijón.
Last Saturday, Ángela died in her apartment, located on Alcorcón street in the Asturian city. As El Correo points out, citing police sources, the woman suffered respiratory failure caused by the use of "a powerful" pipe plunger.
The product had a chemical reaction that caused severe respiratory failure. Noticing that she was short of breath, Angela herself left her house, since she was alone, to alert the neighbors.
At that moment, a neighbor notified the health services and tried to revive him while the team moved to the scene, but unfortunately they could not do anything to save his life.
The medical report has certified that it is a domestic accident produced after the inhalation of toxic substances. For now, the family reserves the possibility of taking legal action against the company responsible for the manufacture and sale of the drugstore product, for domestic and daily use.
