In the Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia we can see these images of the cows grazing the little grass that remains in the Plans d'Anyella area, a concentration point for many herds to carry out transhumance before the snowfall and cold arrive. .

This mountain plain is located at 1,840 meters above sea level, halfway between the Alp valley (Cerdanya) and the Ribes valley (Ripollès), although located mainly within the municipality of Toses.

It is not an isolated place. The BV-4031 road passes here, which connects Castellar de N'Hug and La Molina through the Creueta pass.

Traditionally, this place is, from the summer, a meeting point for flocks of sheep from the lowlands of Ripollès, Lluçanès, Osona and Berguedà.

In the Ethnographic Museum of Ripoll you can see drawings, photographs, stories and objects from the customs of the shepherds in Plans d'Anyella, collected on July 18 and 19, 1923 by Salvador Vilarrasa, Tomàs Raguer and Josep Ribot.

Clot de l'Hospital, the shadiest area of Pla d'Anyella, so that, when the snow comes, it hosts a meeting of igloo builders every year.
