What will the weather be like during the chupinazo of the Sanfermines 2023?

The storms announced for this Thursday first thing in the morning will threaten the chupinazo, although some forecasts announce that they will cease shortly before the launch of the rocket. That is at least the forecast collected by eltiempo.es, one of the most popular meteorology portals, which announces unstable weather for the days of Thursday and Friday, with the risk of storms, but which, for the moment, foresees a truce between 12:00 noon and 3:00 p.m. Aemet, the State Meteorological Agency, also announces unstable weather and a very high probability of storms throughout the 6th, especially during the first half. The chances that the rains will tarnish the chupinazo are therefore high.

Specifically, the State Meteorology Agency forecasts for July 6 in Pamplona the possibility of rain and storms in the first half of the day, as happened last year, with improvement in the following hours and less risk of precipitation due to the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will range between a minimum of 14ºC and a maximum of 28ºC.

On Friday, July 7, the weather will be more pleasant, with cloudy or partly cloudy skies and highs of up to 31 degrees. In any case, light showers could be registered during the first part of the afternoon.

Looking ahead to the weekend, sunny weather and maximums above 30ºC are expected in Pamplona, with no risk of precipitation.
