"We are not fools: the PP never believed in Andalusia"

The spokesman for the PDECat in Congress, Ferran Bel, invites the deputies of the PP, Vox and Cs if they campaign in Andalusia without talking about Catalonia and Euskadi. Will you have to scratch your pocket?

Probably not. The permanent confrontation with Pedro Sánchez is the only line of argument on the right. It doesn't matter where the elections are. Therefore, it robs Andalusia of the debate on the real problems, the best proposals or the balance of management. Moreno Bonilla does not want to confront me, but rather Sánchez.

Now the PP reopens the debate of the pardoned denounces a "linguistic apartheid" in Catalonia.

He puts up smoke screens, because Moreno Bonilla does not want to talk about his inability to manage or the loss of quality of public services. When they talk about pardons, I will talk about primary care, which is a disaster.

But the 19-J overflows the Andalusian borders. For Feijóo is it a station heading to Moncloa?

Feijóo says the same thing as Abascal, he doesn't care about Andalusia because he is looking for the Spanish government. I hope Andalusians take note. Feijóo and Moreno Bonilla are in laboratory inventions, as always. The only thing that interests the right is the central government. And now he is not capable of having his own project: he is willing to agree with the extreme right to destroy the Statute of autonomy of Andalusia. This is the alternative, before which the Andalusians will have to bet on more Andalusia, more progress and their own alternative, or continue in the permanent maelstrom against Sánchez.

Isn't 19-J decisive for the President of the Government?

Sánchez obtained a great electoral result that allowed him to govern. The policies that he has developed and the decisions that he has made defend themselves, he does not need an electoral result that endorses that management. Andalusians know who raised the minimum wage, introduced the minimum vital income or reformed the labor market so that today one of every two contracts is indefinite. In Andalusia, the right, which has more than enough, is going to be upset. And Feijóo is going to find the last of his shoe. We are not fools. The right never believed in Andalusia.

Have these three and a half years of Moreno Bonilla's government served to make Andalusia lose its fear of the right?

It is not a matter of fears, but of realities. It is not fear, but anger, that a family doctor takes 15 days to treat you, that an analysis takes more than a month and a half, or that public education lines are suppressed in many towns or neighborhoods with lower income levels in large capitals . What annoys me, and it doesn't scare me, is having a government incapable of managing European funds.

Is your first challenge beating some inauspicious polls?

I am not facing the polls, but an adversary who lies more than talks and tries to sell a non-existent management. I am faced with recovering the confidence of Andalusians, to govern our land, continue advancing and generating employment. Andalusians have to vote for what is best for their interests, and not for a party that only wants to kill Sánchez.

The case of the ERE and the loss of the Board sank the morale of the once all-powerful Andalusian PSOE. What is your health today?

We have done our homework, with some primaries to decide if we wanted continuity or renewal. We have done the homework, with all the enthusiasm and strength.

The rise of Vox is also examined in Andalusia. Alerts on the left not working?

It is no longer a question of alerts, after Castilla y León, or that the wolf is coming. The wolf is already here. And he does not believe in the Constitution or in autonomy. We are going to fight these ideas as it is done in a democracy: by winning elections.

There are those who see his profile and that of Moreno Bonilla very similar.

I understand politics from respect and constructive character. Moreno Bonilla and I will resemble each other in that moderate profile. Although I do not think that whoever is willing to agree with Vox is moderate.

What encourages the demobilization of the progressive electorate?

People with more problems and difficulties are more critical of the system. But a left-wing voter has to take into account that Moreno Bonilla says that his model to imitate is that of Ayuso in Madrid. No matter how angry he is, his solutions will never go to the right.
