VOX offers itself to Ayuso to repeal the Trans Law of the Community of Madrid

The VOX parliamentary group in the Madrid Assembly has registered a Law Proposal to repeal Law 2/2016 on Gender Identity -approved by the Popular Party in the era of Cristina Cifuentes- and that, "like the Trans Law of Irene Montero recognizes gender self-determination, reverses the burden of proof and violates the presumption of innocence." And with it they offer the regional government to repeal both legal texts

"If Isabel Díaz Ayuso and Alberto Núñez Feijóo say that the Montero law is so bad, they should repeal that of the Community of Madrid to defend children and women," Rocío Monasterio, the spokesperson for VOX in the Community, has sentenced this midday .

In Monasterio's words, "Ayuso has a great opportunity to defend families and side with common sense."

According to parliamentary sources, the movement of the Monastery does not condition in any way the next negotiation of the regional budgets of the Community for 2023. This detail seeks to bring positions closer and calm the spirits between both formations -investiture partners- after the intense exchange of declarations maintained as a result of the failed order of the ultra-nationalists to promote a commission to study regional geriatric residences during the pandemic.

Monasterio tried to mark his own profile and sit at the table with a greater option of scratching concessions from the PP to his interests. But he was wrong in his calculations, and what in his head was no more than a tough negotiator turned out to be, in reality, a lifesaver for the left. Because taking the main black point of Ayuso's management to commission – since the complaints of prevarication in the covid contracts in which his brother participated have not prospered in the courts – is much more than what Más Madrid, PSOE and United We can they can get given their parliamentary weakness.

Something that Ayuso herself reminded him of in parliament. "I am struck by the fact that he is the best ally of the left", he disfigured him in the plenary session on October 6 to, immediately afterwards, point out his weakness: "Vox has no power or political strength to stop the subsidized and the related platforms that can go to that commission".
