The National Police have arrested two minors aged 14 and 17 as alleged perpetrators of the rape of a 16-year-old girl in a park in the municipality of Petrer (Alicante). In addition, the agents have identified the third alleged perpetrator, also a minor, as confirmed by the police force.
The events occurred last Friday, March 24, at around 9:30 p.m., in the Campet park in the Alicante town of Petrer.
The Police have indicated that, after investigations by the Judicial Police group of the Elda-Petrer Police Station, they have identified the three alleged attackers and two of them, aged 14 and 17, have been arrested.
The two arrested will be transferred this Friday morning to the Courts of Alicante, where they will appear before the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office. Likewise, the third case involved, also a minor, will have to appear. According to the newspaper 'Información', the third alleged attacker, who has not been arrested, is less than 14 years old.
