In Indonesia there is a type of sailing boat made of wood called a phinisi, a boat made by hand by the fishermen of South Sulawes according to the thousand-year-old tradition of construction and navigation of the Bugis. It is characterized by having only two masts and usually have seven or eight sails. They were used, above all, in the 19th century, to transport merchandise along the spice trade routes. They measure between 20 and 35 meters and take years to make, which is why they are intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

At present, these ships are larger and can house luxurious rooms in which passengers travel in search of the last virgin paradises on Earth. Since 2018, Prana by Atzaró, the largest and most luxurious phinisi yacht in the world, has been sailing to offer one of the most exclusive and rewarding experiences that exist, that of sailing through remote islands, beaches and waters teeming with Indonesian marine life.

The Kardashians, in 2021, have already embarked on this extraordinary journey. And yes, it has a price, from approximately 14,000 euros per day, the entire ship with everything included.

With just over 55 meters in length, the Prana has capacity for 18 guests in nine luxurious suites, a total of 900 m2 distributed over four decks. Each cabin is equipped with a bathroom, large beds, rain showers and air conditioning. It has a careful decoration where traditional craftsmanship is combined with contemporary design. The wood is very present, and the neutral colors, browns, beiges and whites provide a relaxing space.

The food options are many, the onboard chef creates dishes with local ingredients, inspired by Asian and Western styles, which can be served outdoors, on the main deck, in the indoor room or directly on the beach while you relax. enjoy a spectacular dinner.

And for those looking to relax, the ship has a yoga platform, sun loungers on the deck, and a spa room with massage treatment. And at night, it's time to watch movies, on the upper deck, through a large screen along with a cocktail prepared for the occasion.
