This Saturday, the Prosecutor's Office has requested provisional detention for the detainee as the alleged perpetrator of the death of a driver with whom he had fought in Barcelona, specifically in Poblenou.
The events occurred on September 12 when, during a traffic argument, a cyclist punched the driver of a vehicle and, when he was on the ground, kicked him which left him stunned and ended up causing his death days later.
Although at first it was said that the confrontation between the two individuals was due to the theft of a cell phone, this motive was later ruled out. The victim was left in critical condition and was transferred to Del Mar Hospital, where he died last Friday, September 15.
The alleged perpetrator fled and was finally arrested this past Wednesday. The Mossos d'Esquadra prioritized the search for the alleged aggressor. The Court of Instruction 20 of Barcelona took charge of the case.
