The prosecution requests 9 years in prison for a man accused of beating a woman with whom he agreed to a sexual service in Lleida. The events occurred in December 2020 at her house.
According to the letter from the public ministry, the man's attitude was aggressive and he also pricked her with a small knife that she had on her key ring to force her to continue with sexual acts.
The prosecution accuses the man of a crime of rape and also of a minor crime of damages since when the woman took her cell phone to ask for help, the man took it out and broke it. He is also accused of a minor crime of threats since days later they met on her street and he threatened to kill her. The trial will take place on Thursday June 1 at the Audiencia de Lleida.
In addition to the prison sentence, the prosecution asks that the man be imposed 7 years of probation, that he be prohibited from communicating or approaching the woman for 10 years and that he pay a fine of 1,800 euros.
