These are the areas of Spain where rain is expected for the Three Kings parade

Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar are already preparing to distribute gifts on the most magical night of the year. Their Majesties of the East will walk through the streets of our country on Friday, January 5, throwing candy and toys to attendees, who will have to carry umbrellas in some areas of Spain.

On Friday we will experience a change in temperatures. After enjoying a few warmer days than would be expected for this time of year, on the day of the parade of kings, temperatures are expected to drop due to the entry of a polar air mass.

According to the special forecast of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), the cold and precipitation will be found mainly in the north and on the Mediterranean coast, both at night and during the day.

Rainfall will cease in flat areas of the Peninsula, being especially heavy in the east of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands. Likewise, the north of Galicia and the Cantabrian Sea will have cloudy skies and locally heavy rainfall and some storms.

As for January 6, Three Kings' Day, the weather will be mainly cold but more stable except for the Cantabrian coast. Therefore, temperatures will be colder and rains will be more persistent in the Cantabrian Sea and Galicia.

Finally, Sunday will be a more stable day, and the sun will shine throughout the national territory, except in the Cantabrian Sea and the Pyrenees, where rain and overcast skies will continue.
