The yacht route in Tarragona

In Tarragona, up to five different ports coexist in the maritime part of the city. The fishing and traditional fishing port of El Serrallo stands out and is famous for its many restaurants.

Furthermore, if we follow the route we also find the marina for small boats, sailboats and motor boats, rowing boats...

Another point of interest is the large industrial and commercial port, which belongs to Puertos del Estado, with large merchant ships that bring tons of grain, oil tankers, gas ships, coal, livestock, containers... goods that arrive from all over. of the world.

This large industrial port, by the way, is among the largest in Spain in terms of loading and unloading of goods.

In fourth place we find the new cruise port that now brings thousands of cruise passengers to the city every week to visit Tarraco.

But, of all the port facilities, the most attractive, luxurious and attention-grabbing is Port Tarraco, which can be visited on foot. You can sit on a terrace or in an Irish pub or an Italian restaurant a few meters from the most luxurious and expensive yachts in the world.

There are yachts from Qatar, the Emirates, George Town... that remain hibernated and undergoing maintenance during the winter months, until summer arrives again to go sailing again with their sheikhs and guests inside.

Walking, looking, admiring, photographing these luxury yachts has become another of the attractions of the city of Tarragona, a route that I have completed in La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos.
