The event, chaired by the Autonomous Secretary of Tourism, Cristina Moreno, also included the head of the College of Estate Administrators of Valencia and Castellón, Sebastián Cucala, and the President of weRespect, Eduardo Suárez Mejuto, who highlighted that the system noise control of the company affiliated with weRespect has made it possible this year to monitor the behavior of more than 650,000 tourists staying in VUTs in Valencia (3 users per day, on average stays of 3 days, in each of the 855 participating establishments with an average annual occupancy of 70%), and resolve the few incidents detected.

Specifically, Suarez Mejuto has highlighted that the system has registered an average of 3.6 alerts per apartment per month, of which 80% were resolved in an average of 25 minutes without the intermediation of the system's night concierge, while the remaining Alerts have been resolved in an average of 30 minutes through the intervention of the night concierge service, without complaints or action by the police.

The Valencia Tourist Housing Association has organized the event as part of the “From Valencia, with Respect” campaign that Turisme and VIUTUR have launched within the Program to promote responsible tourism and the fight against intrusion in tourist accommodation contemplated in the budgets of the Generalitat Valenciana for 2023.
