In The Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia we can see images of some of the attractions of the Via Verda del Llobregat, specifically, the first section.

The snapshots reflect a short walk along the start of the Via Verda del Llobregat, in Cal Rosal, meeting point of three municipalities: Olvan, Berga and Avià, in Berguedà.

The path, in its shortest version, follows the old train track in the section that went from this textile colony of Cal Rosal to the Pedret bridge, about 80 meters long and of medieval origin. The route offers several attractions and not only the landscape.

For example, we find this mural painting of the girl who cuts her hair in front of the mirror, drawn on one of the walls of a collapsed building.

In another of the images we see the path, which was a railway line in the past, when it passes under the new Eix del Llobregat bridge, near Cal Rosal (or Riu, as it was popularly called).

The attractions of the Via Verda del Llobregat are diverse, from walking along the Llobregat river to crossing three tunnels en route and visiting the Monastery of Pedret.

The old railway from Manresa to Berga was planned at the end of the 19th century and reached the Rosal neighborhood in 1887. Now it has left as a trace this flat route suitable for all audiences in a natural environment rich in plant species.
