The Valencian government registers an association of “men abused by their wives”

The Generalitat Valenciana has registered the entity called the Valencian Community Foundation for the Defense of Abused Men in the Registry of Foundations of the Valencian Community, as reported by El Plural and this newspaper has confirmed with the Ministry of Justice, in the hands of Vox.

The Valencian government registers an association of “men abused by their wives”

The Generalitat Valenciana has registered the entity called the Valencian Community Foundation for the Defense of Abused Men in the Registry of Foundations of the Valencian Community, as reported by El Plural and this newspaper has confirmed with the Ministry of Justice, in the hands of Vox. Specifically, in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV), the resolution of the regional secretary of Attention to Victims and Access to Justice, Javier Bazán Benítez, of Vox, was published on April 11, “by which it was agreed register this association.”

This association claims to have among its purposes: “The defense of Human Rights: Protection of the group of men who are victims of abuse in relationships with their partners or ex-partners, women, within the current legal framework, currently known as domestic violence, as well as promoting "gender equality: Promote comprehensive equality of rights between men and women, specifically looking after male victims of violence in the field of couple relationships."

According to the resolution published in the DOGV, the purposes of the Foundation, the realization of which its assets are affected, constitute: The “Defense of Human Rights: Protection of the group of men who are victims of abuse in relationships with their partners or ex-partners, women, within of the current legal framework, currently known as domestic violence. ”Promote gender equality: Promote comprehensive equality of rights between men and women, specifically looking after male victims of violence in the field of relationships and “the enunciation of the aforementioned purposes does not entail an obligation to serve all and each of them does not give them any order of priority.”
