The sad viral video of a dog being abandoned in Tenerife

The dog is considered by many as the best friend of the human being. However, there are some human beings who are not up to this relationship.

In the last few hours, a video recorded in Granadilla de Abona, on the island of Tenerife, has gone viral, in which a person is seen trying to abandon a dog in the middle of town.

In the video, recorded last Saturday morning at 7:42 a.m., you can see how a person throws the animal out of the window and immediately drives away with his vehicle. Faced with this situation, the dog, visibly confused, runs after the vehicle in search of its owner, unable to understand the situation.

As explained by the user who has viralized the recording and PACMA spokesperson, @dani_bisshopp, "after several blocks of the dog running behind, the owner was rebuked by some present and put him back in his car, doing it on top of bad manners ”.

The whereabouts of the dog and its owner are still unknown at this time. The woman who allegedly tried to abandon the dog would face a fine of up to 15,000 euros, for committing a very serious offense under Law 8/1991 on the Protection of Canary Islands Animals.

Despite the fact that the license plate can be seen in the published video, from the PACMA they have explained that they are collecting data on the alleged offender with the aim of facilitating the investigation by the Civil Guard and seeking not only a fine but also the precautionary removal of the dog, that they claim "will end up in a ditch".

The images have also been disseminated by the animalist party PACMA. “The objective of viralizing the video and raising awareness about how serious and reprehensible it is to carry out an act of this ilk; trying to locate this person so they can inspect him and remove all the animals in his charge, and of course, save the dog's life," the training said in a statement.

For its part, the Civil Guard has issued a notice to find those responsible for this event.
