The theft that the President of the Parliament, Laura Borràs, reported to the Mossos d'Esquadra last June was not at her home, as she herself explained on her Twitter account, but in a community storage room where the thieves broke into several rooms .

According to the investigations of the Mossos d'Esquadra on the complaint filed by Borràs, the thieves acted in a farm in the Barcelona neighborhood of Eixample where there are several community storage rooms and entered half a dozen, including that of the president of the Parliament, they have informed Efe sources close to the case.

Borràs alluded to that robbery at the press conference in which he appeared yesterday, Thursday, to announce that he does not intend to resign after the Prosecutor's Office has presented an indictment to the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) in which he asks six years in prison and 21 years of disqualification for the alleged awarding of contracts by finger when he directed the Institució de les Lletres Catalanes (ILC).

The President of the Parliament regretted in her speech that the complaint she filed for the robbery has been archived by the head of the investigating court number 9 of Barcelona, who was precisely the one who initiated the investigation for her management at the head of the ILC, as a result of a Mossos d'Esquadra operation against drug trafficking.

Sources from the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) have specified to Efe that on June 30 two complaints were filed in the Barcelona guard courts for an alleged entry into a car and some storage rooms by Laura Borràs, both without a known author. . The complaints, by distribution, fell to the court of instruction 1 -whose substitute for vacations is the head of instruction 9- and 21 of Barcelona.

The investigating judge 9 opened a separate piece to entrust proceedings to the Mossos d'Esquadra, in which the response from the Prosecutor's Office is awaited, while the main piece was filed provisionally to avoid the prescription of the crime, given that there is no known author.

Laura Borràs publicly announced on June 19 on her Twitter account that she had filed a complaint with the Mossos d'Esquadra for a robbery she suffered "at home". "Only personal documents have been taken. I appreciate the professionalism of the escort service, the agents of the police station and the scientific police who are acting in the face of this attack on my privacy," Borràs explained then.
