The repair of a communion dress, with an assault on the seamstress's house, ends in trial in Cádiz

Three women are accused of breaking and entering, among other crimes, after entering the house of a seamstress in El Puerto de Santa María to recover a communion dress from one of them. A popular jury will be in charge of judging the events in the Provincial Court of Cádiz.

According to the qualification letter from the Prosecutor's Office, collected by Europa Press, the events date back to April 2017, when the three women, "by mutual agreement", appeared at the complainant's house to get a dress returned to them. of communion, property of one of them. Once at the door, while someone grabbed the collar of the person who opened it so that she could not prevent access, the owner of the dress took the suit and they left the place.

The women are accused of a crime of arbitrary exercise of one's own right and trespassing, for which the Prosecutor's Office is asking for an eight-month fine with a daily fee of ten euros for the first crime, and two years in prison for the second. raid. In addition, for one of them he also asks for a fine for a minor crime of injuries.

It is worth remembering, as Diario de Cádiz has advanced, that a jury will be in charge of judging this matter in the Provincial Court because housebreaking is one of the crimes contemplated in the jury law, just like homicide or embezzlement of public funds, among others.

Thus, although other crimes occur in this case, the raid is above the others, which is why it is necessary to establish a people's court to prosecute this matter.
