The Quefers project is born to promote generational change in the High Pyrenees and Aran

With the intention of promoting the relief and return of young people to the territories of the Alt Pirineu and Aran, the Arrela't project has created Quefers. It is an initiative that, through six videos, shows existing jobs in the territory that can be a real alternative for young people who want to stay and work in these regions.

Some of the jobs that appear urgently need a generational change and are linked to the repair of objects, food processing, agriculture and livestock, gardening, forestry management and construction.

The documentary series presents real experiences of young people showing how they live, work and develop.

Anna Aixxàs, a youth service technician from the Alt Pirineu and Aran, explained that with this series they also wanted to give an important role to some market niches such as some trades that have developed due to the socioeconomic and cultural situation of these regions. in recent years and have gained importance in the business fabric of the Pyrenees.

This is an initiative of the Pyrenees Youth Offices and has had the support of the Institute for the Development and Promotion of the High Pyrenees and Aran (IDAPA).

Starting with the presentation of the project this Thursday in Sort, these six videos will be distributed in all the youth offices and organizations that may be interested in them to reach young people who need guidance in the world of work.
