The Prosecutor's Office files a complaint against Hércules for irregularities in the sale of Abde to Barça

The Alicante Prosecutor's Office has filed a complaint against leaders of the Hércules Club de Fútbol, its Foundation and a bank that acts as a sponsor for raising assets for allegedly dividing two million euros from a transfer to avoid control of the Treasury and not allocate the money to settle part of the debt that the club maintains with the Tax Agency.

Specifically, the Public Ministry is directed against the president of the club, Carlos Parodi, as well as Valentín Botella and José León as members of the Board of Directors of Hércules and its foundation, and against José María Caruana, secretary of the same for an alleged crime of raising assets, as Cadena Ser has advanced and knowledgeable sources have confirmed to Europa Press.

The events date back to the months of August and September 2021, when the two million from Fútbol Club Barcelona for the signing of the player known as Abde would have been divided into a total of 34 nominative checks in favor of Hércules CF: 33 of them for a unit value of 60,000 euros and the last one for 15,770 euros.

The Public Ministry believes that to collect this amount, the club owned by businessman Enrique Ortiz opened another account in the same branch and that most of the checks were deposited in the bank in a staggered manner by the president himself for months to be used for payments by the entity. sport and thus prevent the Treasury from receiving the money to pay off part of the debt.

For their part, club sources consulted by Europa Press have stated that at this time they do not have any information about it.
