The public in the Valencian Community reached a loyalty rate of 67%, "a record figure that indicates the attractiveness of the series," the entity underlines in a statement.
The first installment of the two episodes obtained a 6.2% share and 101,000 viewers and the second, which was broadcast afterwards, a 7.6% share with 93,000 followers.
À Punt has the broadcast rights to the premiere of this Valencian production as a result of the agreement with Studio 60 and TVE. The most watched minute was at 10:25 p.m., when 120,000 spectators gathered in front of the À Punt screen to learn about this story based on real events, that of the Santa Pola fishermen who helped fifty migrants adrift in a boat. A heroism that moved the foundations of European diplomacy on migration.
The figures achieved last night by À Punt represent "a season record and put 'La Ley del Mar' in the top 1 of the ranking of premieres in terms of screen share similar to the Noche de Campanadas or the retransmissions of the Fallas," emphasizes the public chain.
In this series, Luis Tosar and Blanca Portillo are accompanied by a "luxury" cast made up of Valencian actors and actresses such as Sonia Almarcha, Pau Durà, Carlos Serrano, Ramón Ródenas, Teresa Hurtado and Paula Muñoz, among others.
Tonight, starting at 10:00 p.m., the third and final chapter of this series will be broadcast, which has been filmed in Santa Pola, the City of Light and other places in the province of Alicante.
