Social and economic agents and local authorities of Ponent and the Public Employment Service of Catalonia (SOC) have constituted this Tuesday the Territorial Employment Council.
This new body will make it possible to develop employment policies that adapt to the needs of the productive and associative fabric of the territory.
Specifically, the members of the Council will be able to propose occupational strategies and the SOC will be the one to validate them. This, for example, will serve to respond to the varied demand for certain professionals that exist in each region of Ponent.
In parallel, guidance, intermediation, recruitment promotion, professional training services will be offered and professional certificates will be promoted.
