The National Police in collaboration with the Local Police of Lloret de Mar have dismantled a clandestine warehouse with more than 47,000 counterfeit garments and objects.

The police dismantle a warehouse with 47,000 counterfeit items in Lloret de Mar

The National Police in collaboration with the Local Police of Lloret de Mar have dismantled a clandestine warehouse with more than 47,000 counterfeit garments and objects. Among the fake merchandise were luxury brand clothing, toys and even cards from the popular Pokémon children's collection.

The police operation began after the detection by Lloret de Mar agents of a large truck that was unloading packages into a van. A suspicious action that caught the attention of the Local Police, who followed the vehicle to a garage in a Lloret industrial estate where it unloaded the packages.

The Local Police discovered that there was already an open investigation against industrial property on them by the National Police.

In the ship's registry, the agents found a multitude of counterfeit objects: from Pokémon collectible cards to toys, through luxury brand clothing or bags, violating the industrial property rights of the affected brands. In total there were 47,822 items that were counterfeited.

As a result of this action, the person in charge of the industrial warehouse where the objects were stored was arrested as the person in charge. He is accused of an alleged crime against industrial property.
