The Parliament undertakes to promote the new CAP in Palafolls

At the instance of the local grouping of the PSC in Palafolls (Maresme) led by Joan Vila, the parliamentary parties represented in the Parliament's Health Commission voted unanimously on the proposal to build a new CAP in Palafolls.

The proposal, defended by the socialist deputy Elena Díaz, highlighted the needs of the municipality "for there are 10,000 inhabitants" which shows that the current office cannot meet the needs of Palafolls, neither for space, nor for technical materials or human resources.

"We have managed to provide the current office with the necessary resources and to build a new one" on the land ceded in 2017 by the last socialist mayor, Valentí Agustí. The parliamentary initiative will promote, at the discretion of the PSC, that this 2023 the project of the new CAP in Palafolls will begin.

In this sense, Joan Vila stated that progress has been made in the Parliament because "we have knocked on many doors, what must be done to achieve the desired objectives".
