The natural complicity of the Rierada waterfall

I took this photograph that we see in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia with a Nikon D750 camera at the water jump of the Rierada de Molins de Rei, where a nice walk along the stream of Vallvidrera leaves.

This snapshot is part of my Landscape Portrait photography series. In the image we see the comedy between a young man and the dog, on the banks of the pool fed by the water of the small waterfall.

This enclave is located within the Collserola Natural Park. The circular excursion leaves from the Rierada de Molins de Rei neighborhood (at the end of Can Castellví avenue) and passes through the Masia de Can Planes. It is an easy itinerary, of 7.13 km, which is covered in about 2h 40'.

The salto de agua de la Rierada is a unique waterfall in Collserola, which can be reached through a pleasant walk through the riparian forest and parallel to the middle section of the Vallvidrera stream.

The area has been declared a special protection area due to its great ecological value. The shorter version of the route is 1.5 km and can be completed in an hour. It leaves either from Can Planes or from Can Castellví.
