A video shared on the Chinese social network TikTok has made it possible to identify the perpetrator of a robbery committed a few days ago on a street in the Sant Roc neighborhood of Badalona. In the sequence, the thief can be seen forcing the door of a taxi parked on a public street in broad daylight.
After several seconds trying to access the vehicle, the young man decides to break the front side window to unlock the door. He then sits in the passenger door and shortly after, he is seen rushing out of the car with a wallet in his hand.
The Mossos d'Esquadra have reported the identification of the criminal through a tweet in which they detail that the perpetrator had been arrested the day before for a similar robbery, which also helped to resolve the case.
To avoid situations like this, the police recommend that citizens never leave objects visible when parking their car in a public area. Likewise, it is advisable to install an alarm for its deterrent function. But, "in case you find the vehicle broken into, do not touch anything, call 112 and come to the police station to file a report," the Mossos explain in a video also broadcast on TikTok.
