Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) will put into service next Monday, March 18 the new stop of the El Segre de Lleida industrial oolígono, which has been built between the stations of Lleida-Pirineus and Alcoletge, on the line Lleida-La Village of Segur

The new station will serve, according to the public company, "mainly to the people who work in the polygon and will also facilitate access to the agricultural area of Grenyana, the park of the Mitjana and the Molí de Cervià, spaces of natural and cultural interest" .

As of March 18, the schedules of the Lleida-La Pobla line will already provide for a strike at the new stop. As is the case at other stations on the line, stops at the Segre stop will be optional, that is, it will be necessary for users to previously press the stop request button, both from inside the train and for users want to get off, as well as from the stop request button on the same platform, for users who want to get on.

The works, with a budget of 453,000 euros (before VAT) have been financed by Next Generation funds.

The platform has a canopy 10 meters long and almost three meters high and next to it there is a parking lot with capacity for vehicles and bicycles, which will serve as a connecting parking lot that will be managed by Railways.
