Before complying with the provisional prison order decreed by the Madrid Examining Judge number 50, acting as a prison guard, the man who killed his partner last Sunday with a screwdriver in Puente de Vallecas in the middle of a possible ritual has admitted to the psychiatry floor of a Madrid hospital.
The man, who was under the influence of drugs, recorded a video that he uploaded to social networks saying "I'm very sorry" next to a painting of Jesus Christ and an improvised crucifix made of wood and in a room full of salt, various bibles and other esoteric and religious items.
After going to court, the detainee was not in a position to testify and has been hospitalized in the psychiatric wing of a Madrid hospital.
The judge investigates him as responsible for a crime of intentional homicide, without prejudice to further qualification as the investigation of the case progresses.
The man was arrested last Sunday as the alleged perpetrator of the fatal stabbing of a 54-year-old man after a fight broke out in a house in Puente de Vallecas.
The victim received three stab wounds -two in the abdomen, one in the face- inside a house on Salvador Martínez Lozano street, 29.
The events took place around 6:30 a.m. this Sunday, when the policemen were informed by the neighbors that a fight was taking place between two people. The police patrol found the lifeless body of a 54-year-old man and immediately proceeded to arrest the alleged perpetrator.
