The judge investigating the alleged irregularities committed in the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) during the management of Luis Rubiales has demanded that former Barça player Gerard Piqué provide the contract that his company signed with the RFEF to bring the Super Cup to Saudi Arabia .
Legal sources have confirmed to Europa Press that the head of the Investigating Court Number 4 of Majadahonda has agreed to said procedure in the framework of the investigation in which the RFEF is still pending to provide other documentation to the procedure.
Last January, the instructor accepted the request of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office and claimed the federation's ledger for 2020, "at the highest level of disaggregation."
The judge's decision comes at the request of the Public Ministry, after receiving from the Football Federation documentation related to the stay of members of the RFEF in Salobreña, Granada, in August 2020.
The decisions of the magistrate Delia Rodrigo are part of the investigation, which she has directed since last summer, for the complaint imposed as a result of the denunciation of alleged irregularities that would have been committed in the framework of Rubiales' management at the head of the Federation.
In the complaint, presented by the leader of the National Soccer Coaches Training Center (CENAFE), Miguel Ángel Galán, points out, among other issues, the alleged commissions charged by the RFEF and Piqué's company so that the Super Cup tournament from Spain is played in Saudi Arabia. To this complaint was added another from Clean Hands that is also being investigated in court.
