The 'green' phenomenon fights against drought

The countryside takes a short break from Sant Antoni de Vilamajor, in the Vallès Oriental. After the scant rainfall, the humidity at night makes the fields green.

In these photographs in La Vanguardia Readers' Photos we can also see the Montseny mountain in the background, with a small layer of low fog early in the morning.

The magic of the last rain, although it was small, made the greenery of the fields stand out, with spring tones in the natural area of Gallecs, in Mollet, also in the Vallès Oriental.

Now, if the weather maps don't change, we will return to winter. The hope in the absence of precipitation is the humidity at night and the morning fog.

Gallecs covers a rural territory of 733 hectares that preserves its natural and landscape values in a highly urbanized environment. It is a representative space of the traditional agroforestry mosaic of the Plana del Vallès.
