A circular excursion that lasts just over an hour takes us to discover one of the most impressive landscapes of the Vall d'Aran, which takes us on foot to the splendid sources of the Joèu river (Uelhs deth Joèu).

This is the waterfall of the Uelhs deth Joèu (The Eyes of the Jew), also known as the Eyes of the Devil or Jupiter.

We arrive via a 9 km paved forest track, which runs along the beautiful Ribera del Joèu, to its highest point, in the natural area of Plan dera Artiga. Several hiking excursions begin here and from here we can access the source of the Joèu River.

These waters disappear in the Aneto glacier and after circulating underground they reappear in this waterfall surrounded by a splendid landscape.

In this way, the waters from the Aneto glacier disappear in the Forat d'Aigualluts, in the Benasque valley, circulating underground for around 4 kilometers, to reappear in this space, near the Artiga de Lin.
