La Rambla is completely recovered and will once again be the central space of Sant Jordi, which is expected to be more crowded this year. The popular promenade will be filled with books with 97 stops and its historic flower stalls. To enjoy the day, numerous activities have been scheduled, ranging from music, theater, exhibitions and open days. The Amics de la Rambla association collects some of the proposals on its website.

Sant Jordi will start at the Palau de la Virreina with the traditional literary lunch with the presence of representatives of publishing, writing, journalism, the different guilds linked to the world of letters and writers' associations. During the event, there will be speeches by Jaume Collboni, mayor of Barcelona, and Marta Pera, Premi Ciutat de Barcelona.

On the occasion of Sant Jordi, the Palau Güell offers an open day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets will be available on their website. On the other hand, the Ateneu Barcelonès can be visited from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. For its part, the Barcelona Wax Museum offers 2x1 admission and the Barcelona Aquarium offers free admission for children under 10 years of age.

In the Virreina Center de la Image you can see the Totalmente Rostro exhibition by Valentina Alvarado Matos and Carlos Vásquez Méndez while in the Santa Mònica the immersive exhibition The Other Side. The Ateneu Barcelonès organizes a theater evening with a theatrical version of the Quadern Gris. Don Ramón Maria del Valle-Inclán can be seen at the Poliorama theater through Ramón Gómez de la Serna and at the Romea theater, Jauría.

Music could not be missing on Sant Jordi's day on the Rambla with a recital by Alain Planès in the Sala Foyer of the Gran Teatre del Liceu. At the Jamboree, jazz fans will have a date with Félix Rossy Sextet. There will also be flamenco performances at the Tablao Flamenco Cordobés.

Apart from the book stalls, institutions such as Casa Àsia, the Centro Galego de Barcelona or the Santa Mònica will have book stalls and author signings. For its part, the Eròtic Museum organizes an open microphone session on erotic literature. Amics de La Rambla will also have a book stop, right in front of the Palau de la Virreina.

Culture and gastronomy will also go hand in hand. Some restaurants on the Rambla, such as Núria or Centonze de Le Meridien, will prepare a special Sant Jordi menu.
