The enigma of the boot of Sant Llorenç del Munt

Walking through the forest of Sant Llorenç del Munt, a massif located between the Catalan regions of Vallès Occidental and Bages, I found this old shoe, full of moss.

It is very curious, because it is already integrated with nature, as seen in this photograph in La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos.

There was only one shoe, there was no trace of his pair. It's quite an enigma, who did she belong to? I bet that, surely, it would be from a charcoal burner from many years ago, what do you think?

It so happens that in Sant Llorenç del Munt there are traces of caves that were used by charcoal burners, an ancient trade that referred to both the person who made charcoal in a charcoal kiln from firewood and the waiter who distributed the charcoal among consumers. .

An example is the Cova dels Debanadors, which was occupied by one of the groups of coal workers who worked for Puig de la Balma until the 1950s. And another case is that of Cova del Carboner. Perhaps this shoe belonged to one of those charcoal burners? And how did he come to lose it? Where is the other pair?... Quite an enigma.
