The door to the landscape of Sant Adjutori de Olost

At 600 meters above sea level and above the valley, everything is better. There is silence, the air is fresher and you can enjoy the spectacular views to the south of the Lluçanès plateau, in a landscape crossed by the Olost stream.

No one is surprised that this atmosphere of seclusion invited to build a hermitage. We have left Olost by carrer de Sant Adjutori, although going by car we could also have chosen the road from Olost to Oristà, to take the first detour to the right.

Arrived there, we decided to explore the small consecrated church in Sant Adjutori. We leave the views for later. So we went around this building, recently built in the 17th century and with several restorations behind it.

We are pleased to look outside at the belfry bell tower, the small chapel and the one that was the hermit's house. It's a nice walk.

But the best awaits us: the panoramic view of the valley with the charming town of Olost at its feet, where the two bell towers of the church of Santa Maria stand out. The colors of the field, the sky and the stone intermingle creating a dream environment and atmosphere.
