The curious two-seater electric tricycle that combines technology and retro style

The popularity of electric vehicles has grown so much in recent years that new developments are constantly occurring. Although some proposals may have a lot in common and even differ little from each other, from time to time alternatives emerge that seek to attract attention for their originality and their intention to go out of the ordinary.

One of them is the new electric tricycle named Lámpago, which represents a new vision of the world of motorized alternatives in the field of micromobility. According to the brand, of Turkish origin, the name of the vehicle is inspired by the Spanish word lightning. Of course, this name is not associated with its performance capacity.

And this tricycle is designed to move quietly around the city, which is why it offers a maximum speed of 25 km/h. That is, its limitation in this area is the same as that of a scooter or an electric bike. But although this newcomer does not impress with its features, the truth is that where it does not go unnoticed is in other aspects such as design.

From the first moment you can see that the Lámpago aims to fuse a retro aesthetic with some touches of modernity. Equipped with two wheels in the rear area and one in the front, the vehicle is designed, above all, for short-distance daily trips and to transport a maximum of two occupants.

The Lámpago has a rounded body, its small side door, Chesterfield leather upholstered seats and a two-tone combination of vintage colors. Regarding the latter, it should be noted that customers will be able to choose from a wide variety of different combinations. Not to be overlooked is that the rear storage bag and spare wheel cover are made from the same Chesterfield leather as the seats.

For now, the manufacturer has not revealed too many technical details, but we do know that the vehicle works with a 60 V/30 Ah lithium battery capable of offering a range of between 40 and 70 kilometers per charge, depending on different variants. such as the type of driving, the number of occupants, the ambient temperature or the unevenness of the journey.

This battery is fully recharged in about three hours. As for the engine, the firm has announced that it will have a power of 1,000 W. Among the details revealed by the manufacturer, there is also the fact that it is equipped with 10-inch wheels and to stop it uses drum brakes both front and rear.

At the moment, the Turkish brand has not yet reported the price that the Lámpago will have or the date from which the first units will begin to be delivered. Meanwhile, if you are interested in seeing this curious electric tricycle in greater detail, you just have to take a look at the video that accompanies this article.
