The Civil Guard releases two women victims of sexual exploitation and arrests a man

The Civil Guard of Valencia has arrested a man for the crime of trafficking in human beings for sexual purposes and has released two women from engaging in prostitution against their will, as reported by the Armed Institute in a statement.

The investigation began when the Civil Guard received a call from a neighbor who reported that a girl had asked her for help, since she had escaped from a home where she was forced to practice prostitution. Furthermore, another woman in that same situation still remained inside that house.

The victim reported that she was captured through an advertisement in a mobile application where she located a job offer in the hospitality sector. Once she contacted her, a man told her that the job would be in the town of Cullera and that he would pay for transportation to the place.

The detainee, upon his arrival, told him that he was going to work as a companion, so he had to take photos to upload them to an application. When the victim began this activity, the clients asked her for sex, to which she agreed, due to the state of need and threats that she received from him.

Likewise, the detainee managed to capture another woman in the same way, forcing them both to practice prostitution and giving him sixty percent of the money obtained.

Finally, the operation carried out by agents of the Civil Guard and Local Police of Cullera culminated with the release of the woman who was still inside the house, as well as the arrest of a 30-year-old man of Colombian nationality. for a crime of induction into prostitution, threats, trafficking in human beings for sexual purposes, illegal detention and against public health.

In the search carried out in the house where prostitution was carried out, several telephones were intercepted where clients supposedly made appointments, doses of LSD, hashish, marijuana, hallucinogenic mushrooms, a precision scale and a diary with notes on accounts. The proceedings have been delivered to the Court of First Instance and Investigation number 2 of Sueca.

The Civil Guard has recalled how important citizen collaboration is to find out about crimes and prevent them from being committed in the future, being able to communicate this directly to the Service Operational Center (COS), telephone number 062 or through the Alertcorps application.
