The context in which the field work of the March barometer of the Center for Sociological Research (CIS) that will be published this afternoon was carried out is not the most favorable for the PSOE, stalked by the so-called Koldo case that broke out at the end of February, and marked by the reactivation of the Amnesty law proposal that tomorrow will see the green light in Congress and will begin its processing in the Senate.
The CIS carried out the surveys for the March poll between March 1 and 5, a few days after the former Minister of Transport and former secretary of organization of the PSOE José Luis Ábalos, whose former advisor Koldo García is investigated for the collection of commissions for the sale of masks to different administrations during the pandemic, was expelled from the party and moved to the mixed group in Congress due to his possible political responsibility in the plot, which includes the former Balearic president and current president of Congress, Francina Armengol, or the former Canarian president and current Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, Ángel Víctor Torres.

The survey awarded 10.2% of the votes to Sumar and maintained Vox's downward trend with 7.9%. In fifth position was Podemos with 2.9%.
Regarding the strictly Catalan obedience formations, ERC was the one that came out the best, since it recovered seven tenths by going from 1.4% in voting intention to 2.1% to once again be ahead of Junts. The post-convergents, for their part, paid dearly for delaying the approval of the amnesty law and lost half a point to remain at 1% in vote estimates.
