The black and white sunset of the starlings

Accustomed to colored images and sunsets with bright colors, today we can see in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia these photographs without color or with the duotone that the turns gave us, such as the light and beautiful one that was achieved with selenium.

In the two images we see in the background the mountain with the hermitage of Sant Sebastià, which can be seen to the west from Vic, a temple that is 770 meters above sea level.

This church is visible from many parts of the Plana de Vic. From the hermitage you can see, in turn, a good part of the Osona region.

In the first duotone image, we see the sun behind the horizon with its crepuscular rays. The hermitage shrouded in clouds stands out and, at the moment of the snapshot, the passage of a seagull.

The second black and white image captures the moment at sunset when the starlings leave the tree to lie down in a nearby field.
