The autumn cycle of the sun

In this series of photographs in La Vanguardia Readers' Photos we can see the cycle of the sun, how it rises and sets on the same day, from Torelló and Bellmunt, in the Osona region.

In this area of Catalonia, dawn is mainly accompanied by the phenomenon of fog, while at dusk the glow or candlelight reigns supreme.

Bellmunt is the great (mountain) port of the autumnal (foggy) seas. This sanctuary, located at 1246 meters above sea level, is one of the best viewpoints to contemplate this meteorological phenomenon,

The fog phenomenon in Osona, the so-called Pubilla, can last for days and even weeks if conditions are favorable. In Bellmunt, the landscape of the Plana de Vic is dominated.

In some areas of Osona, the fog or Pubilla de Vic is also known as "baixa joke", because the sea of low fog covers the entire landscape.

As part of the phenomenon of dispersion of sunlight, in the morning and afternoon hours, when the sun is closer to the horizon, the light that reaches the earth is of soft tones between red and orange.

In a certain way, during the candlelight, when this light passes through the clouds, it illuminates them and could be said to color them with those tones.
