From the Collet de les Barraques we can contemplate the Puigmal covered in timid autumn snow, as well as the Tossa del Pas dels Lladres.
In this area we can observe the chamois in the middle of nature, enduring the cold and the wind. And, in this photographic report in La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos we also see how artistic ice sheets form on the earth.
Leaving by car from the town of Planoles, located on the road that goes from Ribes de Freser towards the Collada de Tosses, we arrive at Collet de les Barraques.
From this summit we also have spectacular views, especially of the Montgrony mountain range. We can see Puigmal and, ultimately, a mountain landscape that will make us feel closer to nature.
One of the recommended activities is to take the hiking route that runs along an old royal road to Ribes de Freser.
