The 3,400 tickets for Barça for the women's Champions League final have been sold out

Women's football is very interesting. So much so that after Barça made it to the Champions League final yesterday afternoon after drawing against Chelsea, the 3,400 tickets that UEFA had made available to the culé fans have sold out in less than 12 hours. The sale of these tickets, with a price of €15, was scheduled to close on May 12, but when 24 hours have not elapsed since the final whistle of the match, there are no more tickets available.

The venue chosen to host the 2023 Champions League final on June 3 is the PSV stadium in Eindhoven (Netherlands). However, of the 72,262 fans who filled the Camp Nou yesterday, only a few will have the opportunity to enjoy the match live and direct, since the Philips Stadion only has a capacity for 35,000 spectators. The fastest have already been able to purchase their tickets, and the rest will be able to do so from next May 15 when the sale opens to the general public.

One of the teams that has already secured a ticket to the grand final is Jonatan Giráldez's Barça, who is already expecting a rival after yesterday achieving a long-suffering draw against Chelsea thanks to a goal from Caroline Graham Hansen. The Norwegian was also the great protagonist of the first leg where he scored the goal that gave the blaugrana victory.

Another magical night for the Catalan team, which returned to normalize the extraordinary. After qualifying last night, Barça will play their fourth Champions League final and the third in a row. An achievement within the reach of very few and that places the Catalan team as one of the best in Europe.

Next Monday, May 1, Jonatán Giráldez's team will meet their rival to beat, who will come out of the match between Arsenal and Wolfsburg (6:45 p.m.) at the Emirates Stadium. In the first leg, the Germans and the English drew 2-2, a result that demonstrates the strength of both teams and leaves the tie completely open.

Despite the fact that both teams will be tough rivals for Barça, the blaugrana already know what it is to win against both. They did it against Wolfsburg in the first leg of the Champions League semifinals on April 22, 2022 5-1 when 91.48 spectators gathered at the Camp Nou, breaking the attendance record for a women's football match. Against Arsenal they achieved victory in the group stage in both the first leg and the second leg (4-1 and 4-0). Waiting to meet their rival, Barça already dreams of lifting their second Champions League title.
