Teresa Rodríguez, leader of Adelante Andalucía, wins the battle against Por Andalucía, obtaining the approval of the Electoral Board (JEA) to participate in the debates televised by Canal Sur and TVE. “It is the most democratic, that the voice of thousands of Andalusians be respected, as we demand what belongs to us by right: a voice of our own”, pronounced the candidate of the formation for the presidency of the regional government once the ruling was made known .

With this, despite the fact that there is still room for recourse by the confluence of the left, there will be a six-party debate in which the heads of the lists that are running for the 19-J elections will participate: Juanma Moreno (PP), Juan Espadas (PSOE) , Ciudadanos (Juan Marín), Vox (Macarena Olona), Inmaculada Nieto (For Andalusia) and Teresa Rodríguez (Forward Andalusia).

Confluence sources neither confirm nor deny whether, finally, they will appeal the ruling of the Board to the Central Electoral Board. Although they have been notified of the failure, they say they have not received the notification and are waiting for the text to be able to make an assessment.

For now, Rodríguez is joining the television set again to defend his program and debate with the rest of the candidates for the presidency in this electoral campaign. “We will come with our proposals and the firm conviction of defending Andalusia. Forward! ”, Said a tweet published by the Cadiz.

It was Por Andalucía that jeopardized his appearance before the cameras when he sent some written claims against the coverage plans proposed by the Andalusian and Spanish Radio Television, arguing that Adelante Andalucía "does not meet any of the legally established criteria to participate" in the debates be an "extra-parliamentary formation and without accredited representativeness". The rationale that assisted him was that Rodríguez and eight other deputies were expelled in 2020 from the parliamentary group formed after the 2018 elections and which was made up of 17 deputies from, among others, Podemos Andalucía and IU.

Opposite to the letter of the confluence of the left, the allegations of the formation of Teresa Rodríguez, where she maintained that "the coalition of the United Left goes against its own acts, since it agreed with the rest of the parties just the opposite of what it requests in its claim", for which it conveyed that "said agreement should not be unilaterally altered by whoever was obliged to respect it".

Who has spoken openly and favorably to the inclusion of Adelante Podemos in the debates has been 'Andaluces Levantaos', whose leader, Modesto González, criticizes, on the other hand, that his party is denied taking part in these public meetings, something that he considers "undermines the plurality and transparency of the electoral process and prevents the public media from developing their spirit of reporting without censorship and with fairness."

"The logical thing in a developed and democratic society should be to have the possibility of knowing all the programs and options and that the electorate can assess, compare and decide on equal terms", he continued, insisting that his party has a "broad representation council” and that “denying us to participate in the debates not only undermines our electoral interests but also undermines all the citizens we represent and who already offered us their support in past elections.”

Likewise, the representative of 'Andaluces Levantaos' wondered about the function of "service of the public media that all Andalusians pay for if they also do not make room in an electoral process for the options that are presented to it and prioritize some over others".
