Teresa Hurtado, admitted to the ICU for a stroke

Teresa Hurtado, who together with her twin sister Fernanda, were one of the best-known faces on Spanish television in the 80s after passing through the Un, dos, tres contest, is admitted to a Madrid hospital after suffering a stroke. Ella Hurtado has been in the hospital for several days and the doctors kept her in the ICU for four days due to the seriousness of her state of health. However, little by little, she is overcoming the stroke she suffered and is already recovering on the ward.

The Hurtado sisters themselves explained it this Saturday in the Telecinco Fiesta program, in which they assured that Teresa had been admitted to the ICU in critical condition for the last four days at the Nuestra Señora del Rosario Hospital in the Spanish capital. Without losing the sense of humor that characterizes them, they revealed the hard time they have experienced.

With a notable improvement, Teresa showed the cameras the consequences of this shock, such as a large bruise on her arm. "Teresa has been very serious," Fernanda expressed before the Fiesta cameras. Emma García, presenter of the space, was concerned because the week before - at which time both would have had to attend the program - Fernanda had commented that it was something unimportant, and a stroke is relevant. "The doctors wanted us to say it wasn't important," she said.

It is not the first stroke that Teresa has suffered. Already in 2013 she had to be admitted for the same problem. Her sister Fernanda hers, before as now, has always been by her side at all times. The two, as well as their older sister Paloma and another sister, Alicia, who died of cancer, are daughters of the couple formed by the actor Diego Hurtado and the actress Mary Carrillo, both deceased. The four sisters – three, after Alicia's death – have always been very close, and they formed a comedy trio that was very successful in the 80s and 90s.

Now Teresa is already recovering. Despite having suffered a great fright, Teresa has not shown any sequelae in her speech, although she must still be at rest for the next few days until she is fully recovered. "We promise that next week we will be there," Fernanda told Emma García during the live, something that will be very good news, since it will mean that Teresa has been discharged from the hospital.
