Tarantino goes to Israel to encourage soldiers

Celebrities accumulate millions of followers, and when the time comes to raise their voice in a conflict, they play a very important role. Award-winning film director Quentin Tarantino has made it clear where he stands in public opinion regarding the war between Israel and Palestine.

The award-winning film director has traveled to Israel, where he has been seen visiting one of the IDF (Israeli defense) military bases to encourage them and "raise their morale." This was published by the X account (formerly Twitter) Israel War Room, which shared an image of the legendary film creator with a group of soldiers.

"Legendary director Quentin Tarantino visits a base in southern Israel to boost the morale of the IDF," the account shares on the social network. An image that has also been published in the Times of Israel newspaper.

The director, smiling, poses with a group of Israeli soldiers. In addition, he would also have been seen interacting with his followers, with whom he did not hesitate to take photographs. The creator was accompanied at all times by his wife, Israeli musician Daniella Pick, and the couple's two children.

As he already commented in an interview in the past, Tarantino is in love with the city of Tel Aviv, which he baptized as a "small Los Angeles." What's more, he feels a special affection for the Israeli capital, since it is precisely where he met his current wife, in 2009, when she attended the presentation of his film Inglorious Basterds.

In 2017, they announced that they were engaged and the couple married two years later, in a Jewish ceremony at their home in Beverly Hills. As a result of their union, Leo (3) and a girl (1) were born.

Tarantino thus joins the list of celebrities who have been vocal in their support of one of the two sides in this conflict. Other actors such as Adam Sandler, Jennifer Garner and actress Natalie Portman have shown their support for Israel, who have also shown their condolences for all the victims who have been murdered in recent days.

A war that began after the terrorist group Hamas launched a surprise attack on southern Israel on October 7, killing more than 1,300 civilians. Israel has since responded with an armed attack that has already claimed more than 2,300 lives in the Gaza Strip.
