Scottie Scheffler wins his second Augusta Masters

The American Scottie Scheffler, world number 1, sealed his victory in the Augusta Masters early this Monday in Spain after completing an excellent last round with 4 strokes under par and presenting an overall score of -11, 4 behind the Swede Ludvig Åberg. It is Scheffler's second green jacket after the one he won two years ago.

Scheffler, 27, thus becomes the fourth youngest golfer to win more than one major after Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus and Seve Ballesteros. The next challenges he has set for himself are not minuscule: the PGA Championship in May, the US Open and the British Open, both in June.

Precisely Woods, winner of 15 majors, was returning to Augusta after his recent ankle surgery. Despite making the cut, he sank on Saturday in the third round and finally finished in 60th place. Jon Rahm and Chema Olazábal finished tied for 45th place with a discreet final score of 9.
