“Saving is not deprivation, it is the only source of wealth”

A third of Spaniards recognize that they do not have enough knowledge to make good money decisions. Learning from a young age to save and plan our finances can make a difference, as explained by entrepreneur and disseminator Natalia de Santiago.

The Madrid native has just published "M.O.N.E.Y Academy", an adventure saga in which she teaches children concepts of financial jargon in an entertaining way. The author warns that "people who are left out of this financial system, which is increasingly complicated, are falling on the bad side of inequality." To avoid this, she assures that it is essential to educate in the culture of savings, which "is not deprivation", but "the only source of wealth."
