Residents of Lilla once again cut access to the A-27 to demand payment of compensation for cracks

This Monday morning, the residents of Lilla (Tarragona) once again cut off the accesses from the A-27 to Montblanc to demand payment of compensation for the cracks.

Every ten minutes, and intermittently, a dozen protesters have been blocking traffic at the two roundabouts that connect the highway with the N-240 between Montblanc and Valls, causing traffic jams.

The president of the Lille Neighborhood Association, Teresa Figueras, has demanded that the Ministry of Transport "please comply with the agreement signed as it must pay compensation for the cracks" which amount to 700,000 euros. "We simply ask that they comply with the pact," said Figueras, who assured that they will continue to mobilize until it is resolved.
