The Major of the Mossos d'Esquadra, Josep Lluís Trapero, today receives the highest decoration of the Andorran police, the national security medal with a gold badge, in recognition of his professional career and for his contribution to coordination between the two police organizations. The head of the Andorran police, Jordi Moreno, who has maintained a close relationship with Trapero that has not been interrupted or with the 155, or in recent months after his resignation as head of the Catalan police, will impose the badge on him. The event in Andorra will be attended by the head of the Mossos, Commissioner Josep Maria Estela, and those responsible for the Ertzaintza, the Navarre Foral Police, the Civil Guard, the National Police and European police. The external recognition of the elder contrasts with the low profile assigned by the director, Pere Ferrer, on whom he depends. Without going any further, in the celebration of the day of the Squads, Trapero was not summoned to the subsequent meal that brought together the police officers invited to the event with some Mossos commissioners.
