Neymar jr's bad luck with his ankle has no end. The Brazilian from PSG will miss the remainder of the season after suffering the umpteenth injury to his right ankle in a Ligue 1 match against Lille, which this time will force him to undergo surgery.
As announced by the Parisian team through a statement, the player will be out of competition for between 3 and 4 months, so his return to the pitch will not be before the month of June. Among the most immediate thing that is lost is the return of the round of 16 of the Champions League against Bayern Munich.

Since 2013, when he landed at Barcelona, a large percentage of his injuries have come from the ankle, and he has rarely been out for less than a week. Assuming the long period of his absence and with the subsequent summer break, Neymar will now not have the rush to return that constant competition demands. So he leaves, momentarily, having played a total of 29 official matches this season with the Parisian squad in which he scored 18 goals.
