Now the list is expanded with Laura Matamoros.
The influencer had to be urgently evacuated after an incident during a group activity. Matamoros was collecting wood with her colleagues when a bad movement resulted in acute pain, reason enough for the medical team to decide that an immediate evacuation was best.
The mishap occurred while trying to lift a heavy log, an effort that ended up affecting Matamoros. The cameras captured the exact moment in which the influencer, visibly in pain, was helped by doctors and taken on a stretcher to a boat that was waiting to take her off the island.
So far it is unknown what the injury is and, if there is one, whether it could affect the content creator's contest. The production of the program has promised to release specific details about the health status of Kiko Matamoros' daughter in the Conexión Honduras this Sunday, May 5.
Little is also known about Aurah Ruiz's condition. The canary fell during a test and hit a wooden post that was stuck in the ground. The influencer could not move and did not stop screaming, so she quickly had to be treated by the program's medical services.
After a detailed examination at the hospital, doctors confirmed that the blow suffered by Aurah did not result in fractures, although it was extremely painful. The contestant has had to be under observation to monitor her evolution and avoid possible complications. However, Aurah's continuity in Survivors 2024 is not yet confirmed, as it depends on her recovery and medical evaluations.
