At 66 years old, the artist once again surprised his followers during the interview, since the timbre of his voice has changed noticeably. Eight long years in which Bosé has tried everything to recover. The singer finally revealed the reason for this health problem.
Since the singer revealed this problem in 2019, the majority of his followers had attributed the change in his voice to the demands of his professional career. The artist was on tour, practically without rest, and everyone was aware of the passion that he exudes on stage; so they were not surprised at how hoarse his voice had become.
However, upon his return to Spain in 2021, things started to get a little more serious. The singer could not recover and was forced to cancel all of his concerts in our country.
As the artist revealed to Jordi Évole in an interview in 2021, losing his voice was "an exercise in enormous humility." He reached the point of not being able to speak at all due to complete hoarseness and having to communicate with his children through written notes. The singer explained that he did not share what was happening to him at that time because he has never liked to talk about him or his private life.
However, he did confirm to the journalist that the cause of the loss of his voice was due to an emotional reason. Not so with Pablo Motos in El Hormiguero a few months later, to whom he confessed that it was due to a car accident he had in 1999. An endless number of reasons, but nothing clear.
"They had told me that it was emotional, that it was from the lungs, that it was reflux, I tried everything," said the artist. "Eight years traveling with tremendous misery in my soul because I had lost the tool. I already asked God that if I couldn't sing, I wouldn't sing; but that he would give me my voice back so that my children would know what the timbre of the voice is. from his father, to be able to communicate.
He may not have found the exact cause, but it seems to be a mix between emotional and the accident he suffered. Of course, what she does seem to have found is the treatment that seems to lead to her complete recovery. The artist is undergoing hard "training" daily, in which he is strengthening his back and then undergoes sessions with a speech therapist.
"At last the activity returns. I have the intention of recording and singing again. The phoniatrician tells me that these years I have 'swallowed' my voice and that I have to put it in its place to return to my full faculties," he assured, establishing The period of approximately one year to fully recover.
"Next year, September, I start touring," he added, very happy.
